Ours is done, but you guys are getting hammered. I heard from a friend in Boston that they were having lightning and thunder.
Yup they called it thunder snow strange seeing the snow coming down get all lite up by lighting. Then the thunder shacking the house.
Got about 10-12 inches of snow here. Pics of snow covered stacks in the morning. Sent from my XT1030 using Tapatalk
Looks great. I need a light around my outdoor furnace. I use a head lamp and it works pretty good. Keeps both hands free so I can fight off all the zombies hiding behind the wood pile at 4:00 in the morning.
Thunder while snowing.. are yall pulling my chain lol. I'd love to see/hear that once in my life. We get some real bad storms and my family has been personally affected by them it isn't anything we take lightly. I had the back of my f150 picked up and turned around with the wife and I in it. That moment in life you realize you're not in control like you think you are.
Yup a little snow on the stacks. We only got 14" but an official blizzard. Before you ask that is a close line . Jane still likes to hang out laundry to dry.
About 10 inches in total. First real snow of the year. Another 2-4 inches tonight. And another 6 inches in the forecast for Sunday.
It looks a lot like that here too tfdchief . Of course being only 70 miles away I expect it to be similar. OTOH your stacks look a lot better than mine. The way it is warming up I have hopes I will be back riding my bike by tomorrow. The roads here are almost clear already.
A few years ago was my first thunder snow. outside pic's through kitchen window. This is not the house we live in now,but behind the snow is a wood pile. You can't see it. this is a 4' fence. Can't seem to find more pic's, but my daughter's made 1 heck of a snow fort.
Got about 13" and have another half foot planned for Sunday. Catching the moonrise now over tungsten blue gloam.
I actually envy you guys with the snow. Now that I'm retired, I just wish it would snow everybody in. Cause I'm ready and don't really care how much it snows. 2 ft would make me comfy. Sorry for you working guys and gals, but all I have to do is make it to the wood shed, 10 steps
They haven't made enough snow yet to snow me in! I go to work whatever the weather is because I'm essential. Whoop dee doo, I'd rather be unessential and stay home. But I do love driving in the big storms, any excuse to go down to the store to get beer or whatever.
