Prosthetic articulating arm might do the trick here for me, arthritis in my hands is taking a toll on my grip
Use 2 hands, just prep the load in front of the stove before opening the door? With the hair trigger in my lower back, I have to stage the wood I want to load in front of me/at the stove, to avoid any twisting back around to the wood bin.
19 degrees at midnight... a little Chang of weather.... The back log...Hedge... The front shorty pieces...... Hedge on the outer perimeter and mulberry on the inner....
Those blocks I usually leave for my cribbed ends. This year I figured I'd burn some on the colder days. I might not burn them again if this season stays on the warm side like it has. They did burn nice though.
Love it!! I haven't had a wood fire in 2 weeks or so. Only burned a bag or two of pellets!! Been digging our warm weather. 76° yesterday with a low of 26° tonight! T0° drop in temp less than 24 hrs!! Crazy weather for Feb!
Playing with blocks again, 65.6lbs of blocks not counting the fillers. I haven't weighed a load of wood in years, curiosity got the best of me. Yes, I'm a dork! !
