    If this was in Ma instead of Mi I'd be seriously considering it.
    I've got a young stand of pines that some are just getting big enough to start getting some 4x4 and 2x6 out of.
    Better use than firewood.


    edit: plus an excuse for a bigger saw !

    Where is this thing and what comes with it? Doesn't look like any hydraulics. Is there an engine? How many bands? Is it still square? Is this on a craigslist?

    It is a sealed bid process. You don't get to see what anyone else is bidding. You submit your bid before the deadline, and if it is the highest bid, you win.

    Doubt I'd want it now. I seriously considered buying one a few years back but at my age it would be foolish unless I was rolling in cash.

    It might be a little difficult to operate sitting down Erik. I suppose it might be possible if you set it up on concrete and had a chair with wheels on it.

    Dad retired from there.... I scored a truck once and it was $400 for 79,000 mile vehcle! The inside looked like hell!
