After working on my saws my boys seemed to like tearing into them. I was looking for a small engine or two for them to work on and see if they can get them running. A guy responded who has some Stihls. A 362 with possible carb issues and some small non running Stihl trimming saws. He said one was a top handle model. I was looking for some freebie Craftsman or Walmart poulan but thought this might be worth a look. That is as much as I know. I am going over to look at them this afternoon. What would a reasonable price be? He didn't know what model the trimmers were as they were at his shop. I think he's in the tree business so cosmetically, they might be beat. Any saw I've bought in the past have either been new or used but nearly new. Thanks in advance.
Yep. I'd be curious what he's asking for the 362. Brand new, they're over $700....last time I looked. I quit looking.
I bought four saws. I know nothing about the 192Ts and neither run. He had two 362s, the one with the bar started, to his surprise. It sounded weak though so I'm betting it was seized last time it was used. Anyone want to take a stab at what I paid for all 4?
I would like to find for $200.oo. If you get them and get one of the small climbing saws running PM a price if you would sell one Thanks And GOOD LUCK Tommy
You got a decent deal. Comp test all 4. 150psi plus & you're golden. May be pretty minor issues. 192t is a nice little saw. Great limbers & climbers. NICE FIND!
With any luck you can just put a piston and rings in a few of them!!!!!! This is excactly how I got my ms362.....I don't know if you have used them before, but with a 20" bar they will chew threw hardwood!!!!!
great deal on those saws. ! if you can get one of those 362 s fixed into a runner you got a great deal.
