I've rebuilt the stock sub tank coils, not too hard, and the mini came with a rebuildable deck.

I don't think I would try the dual could either. The bdc on the aerotank is hard enough just to get apart, then I would need new seals too.

Saw a vid were they used an oval shaped wire tie. Another used 2 drill bits taped together. I'm a machinist so I can made odd shaped arbors. Should be an easy fab.

I may try a dual coil someday. But I'll tinker with some easy ones first. Working on making my own tools and stands to hold the coils/tanks. I did find a place where you can buy both Kangar and Aspire bare coil heads. same place I bought the Kanthal from.

I was also getting close to smoking 2 packs a day when I started with the e cig. Been 8 months now with no smokes. Took a while to find a flavor that I could live with on a daily basis though. Started at 18 on the nicotine but am now at 6 and it is working out great. With some good advise here I am using the innokin itaste mvp 20w with the aspire nautilus mini tank and although a little bulky it has worked out great for me. Go for it and good luck !

Ain't no way I'm about to read through all these posts. But I'll leave you with some advice that a former workmate received from an electrician on a job site. The partner told the electrician that he is going in for the cure...had been drinking too much.
The electrician looked at him and without batting an eye told him "Nobody likes a quitter!"

Yeah...been smoking since I was 18. 20 years later, I realized it's either quit now or die really young. That, and I have some shortness of breath. The air cleaner is clogged and not getting Oxygen to the engine

My brother has been smoking since the 60's.
I quit smoking in 81. Friend that smoked asked if I missed it at all and gave me a cig. Lit it and let it burn.....
Ex-wife told me she quit smoking (a number of times) but hadn't and would "sneak" them while she would visit her folks. Both of them died from cancer.

    I quit cold turkey
After trying to quit and playing all the games ( outside, no more than one an hour, just three puffs, etc. )

Just imagined myself not being a smoker and decided to be that guy.
Sounds simple and it really is.
Starting right now I am no longer a smoker.

    Body didn't cooperate though. :)
    That was the hard part.

I decided not to lose that battle as well.

If you find something that gets you there, that's all that counts.

I made it about 8 months before I started choking again. I got a severe sinus infection and the doc told me it may be the PG causing it.

Still got the gear and will try again this summer, But with high VG and USA e-juice's. Just need to order juice and some coils.

I quit 3 months ago and will never go back. I also made my own smokes at about a buck a pack, and without all the chemicals that the big tobacco companies use. I waited too long to quit though. Although it was a night and day difference in how I breathed and felt as early as the next day after quitting, I will never regain full health again. Once you lose any amount of lung function it is gone for good. It now takes me a week to CSS the amount of wood I used to do in a day. If you smoke ANYTHING, it's not a matter of IF it will catch up to you, it's WHEN. Just stop !

Well, Did you give vaping another try?

Also wondering how the rest of you are doing with vaping?

I fell of the wagon, But I'm about ready again. I started buying ejuice a few weeks ago and have been sampling them. Just haven't put the smokes down yet. I've been rolling my own to save some $$ and have some tubes and tabacco to use up. I did feel better when I vaped. Smelled better and tasted food better too. Draw back was put on some pounds........... Didn't loose those when I re-started smoking either. Just stuck on for the ride. Most of the batteries I have died on the lay over. So some gear is going to need replacement. But thats the fun part of vaping. The new gear today is leaps above what we had just 2 years ago. Most is for cloud chuckers, But some are available for the MTL guys/gals.

I don't want to smoke anymore, But I don't want to quite either!! Tried cigars, But only inhaled them(not good!!) same with the pipe...... I guess vaping is about my only other option??

Ill need to step up to the plate again. Cigarettes are horribly addicting. I don't smoke nearly as much as i used to, but the fact i still smoke at all sucks.
