I don't know about the Jedi Master part but with several non-distribution repositories it can get confusing in the codec area. No need-um back versions getting in the way. Leads to no sound but pictures or no pictures and plenty of sound or some of both depending. Things get even funnier if the distribution has new sound playing back ends that some times go south on ya.

Sure happy with the Vacuum unloading system for getting the shells out of the dumpster.

Did run into a snag though.

The plastic roll around garbage cans and the cardboard drums are a NO GO.

The big 6.5 horse sucker turns them inside out :picard:

So the plan is for now to slowly phase out everything but the steel 55 gallon barrels.

I needed storage space so I kept the last 55 on the sucker and as soon as it filled up I would bail it out into a plastic roll around container.

We still have 18 cardboard drums empty, so the plan is to get another load in a week or so and just fill a 55 with the suction unit and then swap the shells to the cardboard ones.

Unless I can scare up more 55's

Funny thing is that I'm still waiting for cold temps so I can burn the Cubex, Oakie Platinum and a couple of other super-duper ultra-premium bags of pellets I have been holding onto. Lowest it has been in a couple of weeks is 8* and it was 10* a couple of mornings ago - but that ain't nearly cold enough to warrant use of those special bag - unless of course those were the high's for the day. At the rate this winter has gone so far, I may still have them next year.

Nah, We settled on getting it rebuilt. Initial quote was $4500, Until they found the stator wadded up. Jumped it to $6000. Nearest we could tell is $12K new but a 3 week lead time.......

Boss man checked around and we got a loner diesel 185HP portable and stuck it in the back lot. Pulled a flex hose in to the rear storage area and connected it to the air system. We can run most of the machines for now. But not all. The rebuilt motor should be done by Tuesday PM and back at the shop by Wednesday. $3K for the compressor rental.

The chitty day continued. Right after we got the motor out and off to the motor shop. We lost a gear box on one of the assembly machines. Seems someone forgot to add oil to it. Got that out and torn apart. Parts list handed in to purchasing. Parts ordered and should be in on Monday red tagged......... Luckily it was only the right angle drive that had a bearing lock up and spin in its housing. Main box is fine(it had enough oil in the sump to protect it). Repair kit for the right angle $550.00 plus freight.

Brewski time, If I don't nod off first!!
