Pellet heads!! What's up today?

Met ttdberg at Artc's place.
I picked up half a ton, Tim, I didn't count his.
Didn't take pics. (how else am I gonna keep the other pellet pigs away )

Got my last W2 today so did my taxes. They are very easy to do; tell them how much I made, tell them that yep, I did send them nearly 20% of it as Federal taxes, and they said "good girl, thank you so much" [I made up the part where they thanked me].

Last weekend I picked up a trim piece that will go in the bathroom. it was in raw wood state and I cut it a little longer than I needed and took the scrap piece to try out some coloring schemes before I work on the piece that will be installed. All is done with markers and stain.

First pic is in panorama mode in which you can see how level I could keep the phone (it makes the wood look grossly warped but it isn't). The second pic is of the unfinished wood I started with. Then there are closer pics so you can see the detail better from left to right.

 

Is there 2 bags of Maine Choice in the middle of your stash? Good luck with those.

 

I bought a few bags myself and the burned well in my Quad....albeit, they seemed to have a higher ash volume than others. I'm assuming these are what's in the Geneva bags since these are a straight hardwood now.

 

I will admit it's been years since I've tried any but my experiences with them weren't good and I just can't bring myself to try them again.

 

I don't think Will burned any yet but I'm interested to see what he thinks. These are most likely leftovers from last season. Lowe's got random pellets in this past week that they had last season. Inferno Gold's, Maine's Choice, Big Heat and AWFWP. Three pallets of one, two of the other....

 

I was at Lowes tonight and saw AWF WP's, Power Pellets, Inferno Golds, Nation's Choice and Green Teams. Still no pellets sales yet

I'm hoping for a sale so I can stock up again! 2 of my kids moved out this winter so I have 2 empty bedrooms in the basement now(future pellet vaults)

 

Train room and den and pellet storage. Now you have to make sure they are really going to stay gone.

I burned 3 bags , and they were fine for me , but the Harman don't really give a f ck , it just makes heat

 

Slow, like molasses going up a cold hill. She keeps saying she is going to the spa, but then doesn't. Needs to get moving if she wants to get better. We sat a date for Monday for her to go. If she does the pool and hot tub, she'll get out and feel better.

 

Took a spin over to see artc yesterday. Thanks so much for the pellets, and it was great catching up. MikeSs it was a happy surprise meeting you there too!
