Im looking for an inexpensive but decent bar for my Echo CS-510. 20" .325 .050 It looks like Oregon makes several different models, not sure the differences. Forester & Windsor come to mind. What do you recommend?

I have a forester 16" or 67 dl .325 .063" on my 026. It has about 35 cord on it and the paint is just starting to wear off. They make 3 different ones, the cheapest is a laminated that I have not heard much good about, the one I have is a single rivet replaceable tip then a 3 rivet.

For the less expensive laminated bars I like Oregon Pro-lite bars - I've had good luck with them - seem to hold up a long time. I assume your Echo takes the K095 mount? Cheers!

I'm not sure which mount. The Oregon site says the Pro-lite 200glgk041 will fit it. Or the Pro-am 200gdbk041.

Mount is K041. I've seen some good deals on GB and Laser bars on Left Coast Supplies - might be worth a check. Site is a pain to navigate. Cheers!

That makes sense, I see which one you have. Echo conveniently duplicated an old model number and dropped the suffix.
All the Oregon bars (and bar/chain combos) I've seen for that saw are pretty pricey. I'm afraid I might venture into Chinese territory on this purchase lol.

I bought the saw 4 years ago for $10. Put about $25 into it. It's a good saw. I just kinda like the fact that I don't have hardly anything in it. eBay has a Oregon Pro-am for $35.56 delivered. That's not bad.

Is that just a bar, or a combo? Are you stuck on getting a 20?

    Just a bar.
My chain is a 20". It doesn't need a 20" but I like the reach.
