What's up today (bullchiting) thread.

Yeah, snow's on its way. Looks to be 2-4" down here, so I'll be able to haul wood with the atv in the woods.

Saturdays looking to be a full go in the woods.

However driving to work and back might suck for a day or so starting tonight.

 

Just threw in some chunks for the OWB and it appears that we have just enough snow to be called a dusting as I can see my footprints on the deck.

More to come, I'm sure. Next 7 days on the weather channel show only snow falling!

 

Well heck....they were right looks like 9" to 10" of snow.

Had sone nasty winds yesterday around 4 to 6pm. Pure white out in the country at times. Unfortunately there were a couple bad accidents as a result. Heard life flight come into town. Never good.

Reloaded the stove...back to get a few winks before my day starts.

Sorry to hear about the bad weather everyone is getting. Windy this morning but I don't think we will get rain. Second full day back to work yesterday and my co-worker is sick. No replacement so I got to run the show by myself. I survived. I hope she is well this morning though. Our area is being hit by a virus that is really ugly. Lots of people sick. Good thing I got my flu shot back in Nov.

 

Guess it's a double edge sword...pretty but treacherous.

 

Time to go out on my lower roof and clean my chimney cap with my extendable pole saw. Always fun. Not! But I need to do that and then clean my pipe from boiler to outside wall. Put it all back together and reseal it. Wish me luck. Loooooong weekend starts now!

 

We got granular ice yesterday. rain today. Son got it out of the yard so the driveway is clear. Should be above freezing for a couple days during the day. If these granular freezes, it will turn into a solid block of ice. Still going to the pool 3-4 times a week and swimming about an hour each time. When I started out, I couldn't swim at all. This has helped me breath easier and has improved my weight loss efforts.

 

Awesome...swimming is great exercise.

 

Swimming is so good for you. I swim so badly that I don't get much exercise benefit from it but I do enjoy it. We only have an outdoor pool here that runs from June to the end of August.

Alright. Caught up on some sleep. Then got a few things done around the house. One big thing was cleaning the cap on the chimney. Then cleaning out the bottom of the chimney, and then cleaning the boiler. The chimney cap was worse than I thought. Much better now. Relaxing with a cold one and surfing between FHC and TractorByNet.

 

Tuna Melt on a buttered Onion Bagel. With heavily salted fries out of the oven. This is not following the recent watching the diet! And for this meal, I'm okay with that!

 

We barely got any snow here. Just enough to say it snowed, and for an idiot to hit a train that was already across the road when the car driver realized they couldn't stop in time. Car vs train. Luckily there were no injuries.

Hwy 51 was shut down in Madison. That made the national news tonight.

Luckily my commute in to work and home was easy, and drama free. Except for idiots not understanding how a 4 way stop intersection works, but that happens regardless of road conditions.

yooperdave , that shirt I've been wearing for the workouts is smelling the worst, 214 can't come quick enough. I'm hoping that I hit that weight a week from this Friday, I'm thinking I'll tip the scale at 217.5 or 216 this Friday.

This weekend I'll up the treadmill workouts to 25 minutes for the next week.

 

By the end of today we had 13.5" of snow according to the local TV station. Drove by just a couple cars in the ditch today, less than I would have expected. The snow must have kept the idiots inside.

 

Now after you hit your goal and wash (throw away) the shirt, you may be surprised at the amount of snow that doesn't melt around your place any longer.....
