image.jpeg got a call from a buddy - free wood for the hauling. We loaded up the dump trailer and tractor and went for a drive. The tree service even brought it out to the street and stacked it there. We pulled right up and was loaded and gone in 30 minutes. Now if only it would split and stack that fast.

The rounds were soaking wet - talk about some heavy wood.

Looks like soft maple / silver maple to me. Anyone disagree?

In the back alley, or along side the road.

Silver maple, good stuff. Can be burning by this time next year and easy to start.
