    UH HUH
Placed an ad on Craig's List and sat back and waited.
Took about a week and I got a text mssg.

Called the guy up and went to take a peek.

He wanted it out of his driveway (Mrs me thinks wanted it gone)

WE kicked a tire or two and we got to the $$$$ thing.

He says $250 and it's yours.

Dropped the green in his hand and he signed the title.

Been snooping about for other parts for the Franken cat build.

    Slowly coming together.

The van will provide not only the body, but the engine and tranny as well.

Gonna be a fun project for sure.

Well just got home from Westchester Medical. Took Taconic Parkway all the way home. Nasty weather and ride. 30-40 mph with the Silverado in auto 4wd. Too many folks doing 20 mph with there 4 ways on. Sleet and snow. Thundering here now.

Son had a major setback. Severe pain Saturday night, emergency ambulance ride back to Westchester Medical at midnight and emergency surgery at 3am. Doctor says hiccups tore sutures, filled chest with air and stomach bile. Older folks don't survive what happened to him he says. Son now has a feeding tube to lower intestine and drains in chest and belly to get toxins out.. Will be in step down unit for few more days and then on floor into next week. Only good side is he now will get the nutrition he needs to get well from the feeding tube. Can only get sips of water and a little yogurt down. He cannot get enough food and water down his throat yet. He and his wife are bummed big time, not being together with the little one. Hopefully a week or so from now they will be back together. Gave him a little pep talk tonight and he was smiling and took a few smiling photos before I left.

    Dogggy

Well, it's 32* on the button, had a total of about 1 1/4" of ic*, sn*w, and sle*t........gonna be an interesting ride into work. It's normally a 20 min drive, but I'm giving myself about double that. Roads look nasty. 4WD will be getting some use.

Thats the million dollar question for me right now. To stay home or go in.

I got a few inches of snow followed by sleet all night. At 10PM when I went to bed it hadnt even started yet.

It looks like I can get out and down the driveway (hill with a slight turn partway down) but will I be able to get back up later? Best bet is to leave it alone and not attempt to clean anything until later-but have to get it before it freezes solid and the winds will speed that process.

This is one tricky storm around here. :hair:

3" of snow/sleet mix when I left my house at 4:30 this morning and was sleeting hard. Managed to do about 30 mph most of the way - except when the Highlander pulled in front of me and was going 20 for about 5 miles. Most people were driving reasonably. Until, that is, we hit the highway off of 101 then they were frustrated NASCAR drivers. I was in 4WD, am not a wuss (but not aggressive either) and 45 was plenty enough for me. Fortunately I'm only on highway for maybe 2 miles as I take the first exit so got back to the sane drivers on the street level roads. 30 miles in 1 hour 5 minutes - about what I expected. Can't wait to see what mess is waiting for me in the driveway when I get home.

Went in, Missed enough time already!! Ain't gonna waste any more days. 2" of sleet on the steps/deck. Roads were OK. Only issue was stuck behind the plows and had a slow journey in. Pretty much uneventful except the off ramp was crap. and a big pile I had to sneak through to get in the intersection. Good thing the new buggy has some ground clearance. The fusion would have been stuffed...........

Time for coffee!! :coffee: And I'm hungry......... :flipeggs:
