It was almost -8 when I first looked at about 8:00 AM, likely it was colder than that when the sun first showed up because there was a frozen ring around the electrically heated waterer in the large coop. That happens when the temperature is below -10 for about 3 hours. I was lazy this morning since I was up late last night.

According to my PWS this morning, it was -18 when I got up. Not 100% convinced that it was quite that cold, but it was cooooold. The CPM was screaming away at 9-9, and losing the battle. The car temp this morning was also showing -18 for most of the drive, so it had to be close to that. Now, five hours later, the stove is off, and it's 76 in the house and rising from the solar gain. Goofy weather.

I'd take a record breaking cold and snowy winter over a hot and humid summer any day.

Have always had a lot of respect for all of those guys who go out in wind driven rain storms and play with 15,000 volts of "fun"… giant kahuna's…

I was gonna pop into the Stop and Shop in town. But the mob seen had traffic backed up out in to the main drag! Drove a mile and the IGA had barely a car in the lot. Heck I only wanted T paper so it really didn't matter where I stopped.

Quite a run on the packy too. So I bought a 12 of miller lite while I was in there as well!

    T-paper √
    Brewski's √
Vehicle's gased and gas for the blower-genny √
Lottery tickets √ Just in case I can't get out until Saturday! ;)

    More french toast tomorrow anyone?

That would be poetic justice. He's abandoning us at the worst time.
