    Remember this quote
Well the stove is running fine with the exception of the convection fan / motor making noise now and pushing less CFM, not the end of the world under warranty $70 part.(already on its way) As you all know its been warm as of late but I am sure we will have another artic blast come through sooner or later. While I do have OCD and clean this stove every day and have done what most people would do every few months every two weeks I think I am ready to do less maintance and have a stove that generates more heat. Finally getting to insulating the stove room today but after that I am headed to NH to look at new stoves particularly the Harman P68. I need a workhorse of a stove as my house is a cold one. Do i have to have one ? no and the money would be better spent towards re roofing the house in the spring . Am so intrigued with doing less maintance and having more BTU to keep the wife and animals warmer and then there is the slight addictive tendency very slight that is . Would love to have a nice looking stove as well, the stove Skeet has is absolutely stunning and performs exceptional as well as other cast iron pellet stoves but looks like the P68 cranks the most heat and I am sure has a hearty appetite for pellets . Someone please smack some sense into me !
Yeah i know probably the wrong place to ask that here that is. But oh well

    thanks

No help here. I had my England Stove Works 25ep for about 4 months before I replaced it with my Harman. The p43 gives a little more heat, but the monthly cleaning is less work than the daily cleaning of the Esw stove.

For what it's worth, my 25ep has been heating my father's garage now flawlessly for two years and he has time to do the daily routine with it and he enjoys it.

There's your answer right there , I would go and look at the Harman p68 , make sure that's the one for you . Personally I would do the roof , I know not as sexy as a new stove , but the better choice . Then get thru this season with what you got may give you some time to save up some coin for a new stove , that's just my 2 cents .

You only have 3 months or so left of the heating season, ride it out. :shiver:
Fix the Roof ! It needs to be done. Keep the family warm & dry, else... :heidi:

*Been where you're at, life's too short to be worrying about an old (potentially leaking) roof .. Time to get it fixed.

I'd go P61A rather than the P68....cheaper, marginally less heat. Buying a Harman is always uplifting...a real feel-good experience. Especially for me, a dealer. Hair will probably start to grow back, in all the right places even, your significant other will immediately find you more attractive, and your luck will seemingly change overnight. Dos Equis will probably be calling you to star in their ads, replacing the old "most interesting man in the world" with you.....
There are some drawbacks though. All the free time you will have not needing to do so much maintenance......what will you do with it? And of course, now owning a Harman, you will find yourself inexplicably more attractive to other members of the opposite sex, and will somehow have to come up with a strategy to fight the hordes off.....
Oh, and you wont need a new roof, as the sun will now shine on you 24/7/365

Look up a company called Solstice Energy, or something like that, in Nashua, NH. He rehabs Harmans and worked for them in the past. If you buy a reconditioned stove and have him do annual maintenance, he warranties the stove for four years. A friend of mine just bought a P68 from there and is quite happy.
