After this mornings jaunt on the treadmill I weighed in at 219, tonight is steak night with a hot tomato salad.

I'm hoping that by next Friday I'm at 214, that shirt is smelling pretty bad.

It is SOGGY here. Standing water everywhere.

Work is an absolute circus today (clowns everywhere)...and will probably be that way all weekend. I'm on call again which means lots of phone calls and not being able to get more than 30 minutes away from my ball and chain (laptop and internet connection).

Should be warm Saturday...maybe I can get some lead downrange before it rains.

Last half day at work is over. Gorgeous sunny day here so I have the afternoon at home. I think we are in for a sunny spell for awhile. I am making blackberry crisp for tomorrow's potluck. Soup and buns are already made.

Edit: I was taken out for lunch today, so what I really feel like is a nap on the couch.

This just showed up on my youtube home page; lots of different stoves used by a family in Sweden. I thought it interesting, but I would not want to tend all those stoves in one home. Enjoy.

I let the stove cool off a bit and didn't reload before bedtime so I could clean ashes out this morning.

A handful of hot embers left, now front and center, and it's got a half load in it now.

    Gooder.
It's rainy and soggy here. Has been for days. I can't work in the woods because of that.

Today will be maintenance day on ATV, splitter, get my recoil rope for the snow blower fixed, drop a chain off for sharpening, etc.

    Probably a few beers too;)

Menards run this morning. Dogs loaded up, maple limbs still in the bed of the truck, Packers hat on....like every weekend.

Although the detergent still wasn't on sale, I walked out with " just" some supplies for my back wall. :)

Best part of the trip though was all the employees wanted to talk about was firewood, Packers and dogs. Good start to the day!

    Have a great one everyone.
