Locust for sure. For goodness sake, be careful of them thorns! I had to have surgery last year to remove a 2" section of a locust thorn from the palm of my hand. I wish I would have been more careful - cost me a week off work, lost pay and a few thousand bucks for the procedure. But, boy that stuff sure burns good!
The question is, have you burnt the wood yet? It should be getting ripe on a 3 year plan. This thread is from the 4th day of FHC.com.
Better late than never: For sure honey locust! Not only great firewood, it makes beautiful flooring and or furniture when milled.
Oh, now that I'm retired, when I take a break from splitting wood, you never know what I might dig up. I love Honey Locust and you and it caught my attention. So, how's the new computer stuff going. So happy you got what you need. So appreciative of what you do. Don't ever lack for that computer stuff. We will get you what you need. Thanks for what you do. This place and the people here have saved my life more than once. Chief
Doing really good with it all, chief. Really happy with what I got. Busy with gun club website a lot right now too and the computer hasn't even broken a sweat!
Seriously, I'll check. Our website is always outdated. You will come highly recommended. Thanks again GA for all you do. Chief
It's tough to keep our website updated too, mainly because it's hard to get the info I need to update it.
I work with a circa 2K5 machine I built, top ram is only 3 gigs, single core AMD 64 bit processor; one of the first I think, on an Asus mainboard. It runs 24/7/52 (yes, I know the correct form). I hold it together with chewing gum and baling wire.
