Sorry if I missed it Swags... But, do you think attendance will be greater on Saturday or Sunday? Also, the races and what not... are those on Saturday or Sunday?
I work Saturdays, but could probably make it to your place by 2pm or I could just come up on Sunday, and could be there at 9am no sweat. I go to a couple gtg's a year, hope to make at least three this year, starting with yours :).

It's on Sat, a few of us are going up Friday and spending the night. Then spending Sat night there as well, I'm sure there will be some activities with clean up on Sun

(But the "Main Event" will be Sat.)

Im pumped for this, What do you guys think for amount of logs to have? Ive got two log loads from my trailer so far should be around 3 cord. We will also be taking down three big trees. A pine, sugar maple and a silver maple that should give us another 3+ cord. And Dex is bringing some rough cut square sticks that we can stack to cut cookies.

I really don't mind if this gets cut into cookies. I've got plenty of firewood cut already. But might still try to get more poles to cut.

You should have an accuracy cut-- have each contestant cut several pieces to the length of you firebox. Person the closest over all of their cuts wins.

I think most of the logs can be cut to actual firewood length and use the Cants that I bring for the races/cookies. Some logs can be put up for cookies for sure. But for those that want a load of wood? We should cut a lot into lengths. I know if my buddy Joshmain comes, he would take a load. And if I don't get to work soon, I will take a load myself.

I had to work last weekend straight through and also this weekend straight through. :( Getting the time to get what I need to get done is almost impossible.

My trailer may be inadequate for the weight. So it may be necessary. I will go work over the cost with them in a week or so. I want them to cut them the week of the GTG if they can. The wetter, the better.

Hope you'll be able to herd all of the Hoarders together for a few group pics for those of us who can't make it.
