I did get out to get some splitting done at the wood lot before the game.

It's in my today's work thread.

Sometimes (all the times) when I type out a post, I read through it and try to think how it may be distorted. :binoculars:You know, things like someone helped me with my wood today; I got some gas before I made wood; that sort of obvious "attack me" stuff!

I stained a church pew was something I thought would never be picked apart...:hair:

Obviously, I am in the company of professionals! :picard:

I'm giving myself the morning off-well at least until I get some business done.

It's been three weeks now that I have been trying to set up therapy for the back/sciatica issues and am fed up with playing phone tag. The people involved are busy and only try once to return a phone call, so then we start the back and forth stuff.
Almost all last week, I was out of service with the work phone, so that doesn't help either...

Gotta get this started as it has been since Nov that I've been in pain. Some days lots, some days little. Getting frustrated.

    Hope everyone's day is good!

Pouring rain this morning and it is appropriate. Back to work this morning - at least for half a day. Foot seems to be doing good so far.

What a game the Packers had!!! I thought they were going to miss that last field goal. And six only field goals to win a game? that can't happen that often.

AccccK! FHC withdrawal kicking in. I haven't be able to surf FHC all morning. Work interfered with that activity. I am home for the afternoon so I should be back to normal by tomorrow morning.

Foot is coming along really well. I can still use it for the sympathy ploy if need be though. NOT!

It was nice to come home to dinner on the table, a warm house, FHC & snow falling on my computer screen and no phones ringing.

glad your healing well Woodwidow .. now ya just need to convince campinspecter sometimes you just need a lazy day...

my wife.. I try to give her one lazy day at least a week... especially on her Fridays which a her hard day ato work... make dinner do a couple loads laundry ... etc etc.. whatever stressing her out that week.... she says it romantic... and it will be more so when I finish her 2 closets... that's been a LABOR for love.. because I certainly did not need more closets when I was single... 30 Sq foot over flow closet and 10 Sq foot linen closet... :loco:

What a mistake! Sometimes I forget that other people have days off.

It was around 6:30 when I called for the appointments to leave a voicemail and hopefully be "first in line" for a callback and then I heard the message..

Today is a holiday, we will be closed-etc!

Sheesh! :hair: How could I forget that?

We had freezing rain this am. It made my fairly long commute a bit more stressful. Both the ride to and from work. There were no issues, but having to stop for gas this am on the way in to work almost got me hit by an inattentive driver while walking from the car to the store to pay. I:bug: nearly had to jump on the hood of this girl's Civic. I'd rather jump on a hood and dent it ( I'd make sure of the dents with my 6'4" 250 lb frame ;) ) than get my legs hit or run over by a car. I learned that trick and have used it once already in my life.

Yes crazy good Packers game. They should've won with more points than they scored, but I'll take a win any day. That was a great game, and the TV viewership ratings showed that. I believe that have was the most viewed sporting event all year.

6 field goals to win for the Steelers was a record too, but the chiefs got robbed of a 2 pt conversion for a call that had been let go all game.

The Chiefs Tight End, that caught that failed 2 pt, Demetrius Harris, is an ex UW Milwaukee basketball player that went undrafted in 2015. He had pretty decent 2nd year, especially the last few games.
