Stay safe griz.. keep home fires burning... ice storms are the worse as trees branches fall everywhere! did ya lose power yet?
Not yet! The ice isn't hanging on the trees and lines like it usually does, I think its just a touch too warm for that. But it sure is on the ground, and thats the part I drive on!
We had a skimcoat on Saturday night, it's supposed to warm up and rain all week here. I guess we ain't getting a winter this year.
Supposed to have ice most of the day. Right now, it just looks wet out but I'm sure it's slick. School got called off and I'm staying home too after working an extra day over the weekend. Somebody has to tend to the fire and keep the la-z-boy from getting away. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Pics or it didn't happen! On a more serious note; the forecast for tomorrow is warning about freezing rain. The weather is going to change from freezing temps to rain and milder during the coming night. I am a bit apprehensive about my morning commute.
Some in the forecast for us later but hopefully they are wrong. So far today the radar shows it coming our way but it peters out before it gets here but it is not very far south of us. They have an advisory out until 2:00 am.
The temp here is hovering right at 33 and it is raining cats and dogs out. Kind of the point where the back roads could be just wet or slicker than snot on a pump handle. You know, it's when you have to worry more about the idiots on the road with you more than you do your own ability to drive under the conditions. Got beer, baccy and a warm wood stove and no where to go so I'm all over staying home.
Still raining/sleeting here. Really building up on trees and lines now. The wind is fairly calm right now, but is supposed to pick up as the day goes on. Temp is to drop as well so it could get interesting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
We have ice here but it's from the thawing/rain and freezing again. I was outside later today with some spikes on my boots and I almost hit the deck.
