Yeah, it's gonna warm up to March like temps here midweek, let's hope it it ain't 10 days of that weather. It raises heck with the snowmobile trails.
About 10 this morning. Ash and Pine in the boiler. That 37 I saw coming isn't until tomorrow afternoon.
Beer? Or any other certain types of food stuff that goes "bad" and creates alcohol... (Grapes, corn, potatoes, etc )
Could be. This weather is strange. Got a couple inches of snow last night and it's gone by afternoon. I'm even smokin' a brisket on the Weber tonight.
Down to 24* and still on the load from this morning, I will fill the box up with maple and oak later.
We had almost -15f this morning! That was kinda unexpected. Sure was nice to see the sun today though.
Home again and have lodgepole pine in the stove. -14c/6.5f, my house was cold when we got home early this evening. Warm weather coming soon for me.
Good morning ya'll. We have a balmy 9*F this AM, on the menu today; We have some lovely free range, no artificial growth hormone/antibiotic free, Oak & Beech slow roasting over a bed of coals. I'll slow cook them for a couple of hours, turning occasionally. After a couple hours, simply replace the splits with more of the same. Such an easy recipe that even a yuppie could make it.
One step I forgot to add for the recipe, season with Birch to taste. You can add a little more, or less if you like...........and that's been added. Oh, this is coming along nicely. Can you tell I've been watching the cooking channel with the wife lately?
I know, but then she see's this cool stuff and makes it, and...I get to eat it. Winner, winner chicken dinner. She's an awesome cook.
