Hey LP and HDR....HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! Belated.
It's been 2 weeks since I checked this thread. Mah bad.
I'm right behind you guys.....mine's close to the end of March, and I'll be 60 too.
So yeah, it's chilly again. Forecast -5 for last night, but when I got up at 7:15, it was -20.
    Slight mis-calculaton, I'd say.
House was 65, so I got another load of Oak going and we're back to almost 72.....all is good-er.
I turned on the DV heater last night too. Still on until the temps gets above 0°.
    Nice to meet you Seymour.:D

That's for sure, we have some beech down, the sugar maple that was down or leaners, I cut before the heavier snow hit. Lots of Cherry (lots) down with some nice yellow birch.

At the beginning of March, I'll go through all the pics so I can get my spring work ready, I'm looking at getting the beech , sugar maple, ironwood, yellow birch and the cherry, in that order, I hope.

I still need to check up top for downed wood, we do have a nice size red maple branch down in that area. The hill behind the house has some nice wood down that needs getting, I plan on cutting from spring to when I get snowed out again.

This should be my best year cutting wood, depending on the weather this spring/summer.
