So I made the comment in my first post about chainsaw pictures. I haven't had time to snap a pic of my other saws yet. I do however have a picture of this for the saw I've not received yet. I believe this will open some doors on BIG wood. 20170107_150716.jpg

Guns and chainsaws what could be better? What saw are you getting for that beast of a bar? Is that a 4 ft bar?

3 footer! It's going on a new stihl ms661 that's being worked over in Tennessee. Put it beside my other love Daniel Defense!

Sweet! I too have a 661 with a 3 ft bar, but I save that for big wood. I regularly have a 28 in bar onnit for everyday cutting. I love it but in the beginning I had some issues with it. When it would run out of gas I couldn't get it started unless I pulled out the plug turned it upside down pulled it to blow it out then put the plug back in. Even then it would take some time to actually get it started! I took it back to where bought it and they said that they needed to change out the fuel mixing solenoid. Since then I haven't had any issues with it.

Moving on what type of work is being done to yours? I am contemplating on having some work done to mine like getting a tunable carb installed and a new ignition.

I may have posted this already, but I can't remember. I visited my sister in Key Largo this past year and we stopped into a museum of diving one day when it was raining. Thought this underwater chainsaw was pretty cool!

Interesting, I will definitely keep that in mind in case I have any issues with my saw. Have you heard the name Mastermind mentioned around here? If not he ports saws which makes them noticeably faster as well as run cooler. I've had one saw done already and it's definitely worth it!

Wow that is pretty cool! I can't quite tell from the picture but I would assume it is run off of compressed air?

I really don't care to run a stock saw anymore. That's why I had him buy it down there port and send it to me. He can save you money on the saw as well as shipping.

I didn't want to come off like stock saws are unacceptable. I just love everything faster doesn't matter what it is. If it has an engine I am going to find a way to make it faster. Do I need a ported saw to cut firewood? Definitely not!

Randy gets done with that saw, we expect video & full audio. Nothing sounds better than a well ported big cc saw imho.
