    Thanks, I wonder if the return on investment will ever pay off but honestly I love it so who cares lol. Yeah they fight some kinda hard to.

    Once they start biting at nite through the ice, the Pickeral always quit? :whistle::salute:

    Was easy paying 2 grand a year for oil 10 years ago but the furnace went for a turd and I haven't looked back since. :smoke:Tricky sometimes burning 24/7 but like you, I love it.:yes:

    Then cover with oil in a container.

    It's hard to tell but that tree had been dead leaning for years the sap wood was rotten. KIMG0173.jpg

    Yeah my first electric bill was $150.00 higher for the winter. Add to the fact this heat pump feels like cold air I had to make a change.

    Thanks! It was born out of necessity I need it quick and turns out it worked great. I should have got a double though lol.

    Well I don't know anything about chowder but I know about eating lol. Can you hook a brother up and tell me how to make some?

    3 lbs. of fish. 1/4 lb cooked bacon diced. 4 potatoes diced. 4 medium Onions chopped. 1 qt. half & half ( or whole milk) 1 qt. fish stock. 2 tbsp. butter. 2 tbsp flour. salt & pepper to taste. 1) Saute Onions 2) In a stock pot, add potatoes, onions and fish stock. cook slowly until potatoes are tender, but not mushy.3) Make a rue with butter & flour, place it in pot. Cut fillets into 1" pieces and add the bacon to the pot and cook gently for 10 minutes. 4) Just before serving add the milk or cream, heat through gently but DO NOT BOIL. 5) Salt & Pepper to taste and serve with crackers. 6) Garnish with Paprika & Chives. Enjoy!
