I freeze mine with mixed results. I found it best to go right from the freezer to a skillet with butter or pot full of something. Seems the longer it's frozen the less likely it is to taste good. I haven't tried dehydrating or canning but I have dehydrated morels with good results.
10/4 they're so hard to come by I hate wasting any. I appreciate the advice. I also found out not to pull them up the hard way.

When I moved in the yard was full of huge oak trees that tore the roof all up. So I had some guys come out with a dozer and do their thing. Unfortunately I wasn't home to get pictures of the big ones. Wife took a few though.
Guess the only thing I have left is my newest toy which I'm customizing for wood usage. First picture was when my wife picked it up while I was working. Second was after I got it home for a test run.
