My sister lived in Potsdam at that time . My BIL worked for Corning. I remember they bought generators and supplies for a bunch of the employees to keep business going and let them come and go as they needed to refuel gems.

Yes parts of today's drive in, 32 miles each way for me, was icy as well. No issues, but I felt a few squirmy spots along the way.

Glad for you that you came out of it fairly well. I had that same thing happen. I had to leap off the ladder because the top of the ladder was going through a window below. Smashed the window all the H@ll. No more climbing on extension ladders for me. Now I only go up a step ladder. Also, no way not at all will I craw into any craw space etc. I had one heck of a time just getting a MRI where they tried stuffing this fat man into a tube. Hope you feel better soon.

Lost most all snow yesterday except piles.
Major flooding. I've never seen water across roads in my life like yesterday. Our valleys are wide so not much damage.
Restocked furnace room with wood and coal. Should be good for 4+ weeks. Noticed on reload this morning most of what was restocked is oak and maple .
Got lift put together and cycled it a few times . Cleaned and organized parts and lube inventory. Got a 22 floor jack from :ups:yesterday so I assembled that. Wrapped up a big job yesterday. Typically it's my off season this time if year but a couple big jobs have left me on the hook. Hopefully this is the end of it so we can get at some maintenance .

I figure my vehicles are just big gas cans. One of them holds 20 gallons if needed :D
