Weather guy said it wasn't going to be as cold tonight as last night. I had 1* at 5 AM. Right now it's 2*. I'm tired of burning 2 bags a day.

My weather sticky isn't keeping up with my weather station.

5* when I left this morning. Should be interesting to see if it goes lower. When I left yesterday it was 3* but when I got home the weather station said it went down to -2.

Since Sunday the stoves have been on strangle; low feed rate so they don't shut down - but keeps the temp at 70-71* all the way thru the house (okay, bedrooms at far side are 68-69 - much better than the 62 they can drop to if the stove is allowed to cycle normally). This morning I set them back to using the thermostat / temp probe in the correct manner since it is supposed to get in the 20's or 30's today.

Been on stove temp since Saturday. This is actually the first time this heating season that I have run it 24 hrs per day for this long a period. I will likely go back to on/off starting tomorrow-meaning total shutdown except for evening heating until needed more again this weekend.

Been a 2 stove deal for quite a few days.

Snow, cold, real cold, more snow, ice, more snow and now for one day its above freezing.

Did not loose power but the genny stands by.

Last summer The Harbor had a sale on the 4000 watt units and I had a coveted 25% off coupon and bought one.

Unboxed it, added oil and gas and gave it a couple pulls and BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.

    Very nice and quiet.

    Sooooooo.

Tomorrow there is more snow coming.

Been far more cold and snow than we normally see around here.

Down to one stove since yesterday and that's fine by me.
Two rigs burning really suck up the shells.

Going through four 5 gallon buckets a day is not what I want to see for very long.

Will be interesting to see what the next month brings in the way of cold and snow.

Had several days of Silver thaw, yuck, hate that stuff.
