    I feel foolish sometimes for not having a mill. I have all the wood I'd ever need if I had a way to mill it.

    I have subcontracted with a portable sawmill operator and he will cut for wood. No cash out of your pocket but just in most cases about a third of what we cut.

    Which is what I did a few years ago, but he took about 1/2. Worked for me.
    I'd love to get one of those, just for some of the pine and Spruce. Lots of uses for rough cut boards.

    Yep, I think it probably goes by how valuable the wood is that your cutting. I parted with some nice oak and cherry so maybe mine was a little less. Half or a third still cheaper than owning the mill.

    I got close to 2000 bd ft out of that deal. Not unhappy. Still have about 40% stickered.

    Congrats on the mill! I would like the bigger granberg but I'd have to upgrade to a larger chainsaw which I can't afford ATM so I have this instead. IMG_20170124_171616566_HDR.jpg
