Hope everyone has been doing well and having good new year.

I spent yesterday celebrating Christmas with all my family. Had a great time spending time with my kids, mom and my sister and brother and their kids. Love watching the young ones open up their gifts.

Here is my mom with her grandkids...the 3 on the right are mine. :)

My brother bought an X11 for me, which I quickly put to use today on some wood I stacked in my wood shed.

Not sure I would have spent the money on it myself, but I sure do like it! Perfect for some resplitting before stacking.

I think I found a good spot to keep it out of the weather but close at hand.

Right under the roof of my wood shed.

I've been playing nurse for my bride who got the flu after I had it. Lots of wood in the stove to keep her warm. :)

Snowed in, should be alot warmer overnight and tomorrow. We have heat, water, and food (running low on vices :headbang: ). Both neighbors with plows on trucks broke down, as well as WWW broke the plow cable on the quad again, though the snow is way too deep and heavy after last nights winds for the quad anyway. I put out an SOS on the different local facebook places that we need to hire a snow plower, but no responses. Hoping we can get lil one to school tomorrow but it doesn't look good, too bad since school was cancelled wed/thurs/fri last week and she REALLY misses it. He is currently fantasizing about a Hummer with a V plow:rofl:

We did not. WWW spent most the day helping the two neighbors with plow trucks (that were first stuck then broke down) til dusk. Too bad he worked his lower back too hard too, its really sore. Yep, we couldn't even make it to the hill a couple blocks away for sledding. chit happens.

I took a pic for you on our 2017 Blob snow drift that happened overnight, I will show you tomorrow :) The freakin wind filled up any and all plowing from yesterday on the road, but left the vacant blm land almost clear:picard:

Any reason the truck you have rigged with the water tank couldn't have a plow on it? A 7'- 6" plow isn't too bad, hanging angled, off the front while driving. Had one at the farm and it worked fine. And, the lesser width makes it a little easier on the trans... pushing less heavy snow than an 8' or wider plow. My 2 cents...

Finally bucked up, thew some layers on and grabbed a truck load of ash and maple. Couple buddies came over so we sat by the stove in the garage and threw a few back. Banking on coffee to work a little magic today. Have a good day everyone

It looks like I'll be wearing that stinky t-shirt until I weigh 214, I weighed in at 224 this morning.

The wife did ask me where I would hang it. :bug:

Interesting weekend everyone had. Spent yesterday on bookkeeping, curling and finally football. No FHC surfing! Our cold weather turned to rain over the weekend and this morning it is back to frosty. No snow out of all that. We have been promised sunny days for the next few days. We see how that turns out.
I have a week left before going back to work. Almost finished my last pair of socks. The college football game tonight should do it.
