Was up to 19F here, while the furnace was configured for 0 to 10. Got up to 78 inside, but oh well. 17 now, & not real windy, so should be a nice warm nite. Oak & maybe a little Cherry for the overnight burn. Heatwave tomorrow, 20's LOL. Have to be careful not to overheat the place.

I don't look at the thermometer in the basement very often but after all these cold days it's colder than usual , 42 down there, floor is cold.
    Got up to 16 today
Burning some ash, oak and Hickory chunks 75 up inside, 15 out, not as cold tonight, low 13, forecast is 27 tomorrow 42 on Tuesday :)

With just the P.S. going the basement temp was 80 (71 up here) so with the outside temp at 0, I started a fire off the coals in the Liberty.

Sitting at a balmy -29 c (-20 F) at the moment, and the wind kicking up later it's supposed to feel like -37 C. Pine running the reactor. I had tried to guess where to bury the pine in the woodshed last year, and apparently I guessed right.

16f here in Possum Hollow at 1238 hoosier time. Hastings is idling along downstairs, slowly paying for itself. Princess is chewing through the junk shoulder wood upstairs like wifey at the Golden Corral. 85+ upstairs, pretty steady 72 downstairs. No heat in the master bedroom, though, so that 85 degrees out in the living room doesn't overheat us too much.
