Checking in from south central New England.

Clear and cold(for here) this morning. 8degrees with about 7-9 inches of fresh snow.

Before I snow blowed my "habitrail" pathways.

And, reloading my stack on my deck. From here, it's inside and into the stove.

Not sure why there are double-posts, or, some thumbnails. I just love displaying my ignorance of such things!! :D

It's all good, double pics isn't an issue;)

I think you just need to be more patient when posting pics into a post. I'll go and write descriptions of the pics, while a single pic loads. That seems to help me out.

We have barely a dusting here. Insane.....

Every storm system that comes through, seems the temp rises and we get rain.....

Like I told Drvn4wood in another post that just ain't right I left Somerset County Pa back in 1999 to get away from the snow and frigid Temps. Got up this morning to feed the stove 7 degrees outside.:shiver: Thought I woke up in New England .:picard:

I hope its not too bad. My daughter and SIL just went home to the Portland area last week. While they were here they were joking about the city being shut down if they got a whole inch of snow. It seems they are not equipped to deal with snow at all.

But it has been cold in this part of Kentucky. Last few mornings around 5°. But around 75° in the house. Wood is good!:dex:

Thanks! I'm needing to change the way my stacks are aligned, to better make use of the limited area there. I don't want to have more than 2 rows, immediately adjacent. As I empty a rack, it's getting moved. I hope to have 3 double rack rows, with room for my wood wagon to pass between each of the double rows. If I can make each row, 3 8' racks long, I'll be happy. Wrong time of year to make the changes, but it's the only time the racks are empty to realign.

I would like to do some rearranging of our stacks too, but that will mean moving a 10x13 tin shed (full of important "things" ), followed by relocating the "compost" pile behind it. Maybe Ashwatcher could come down and stuporsupervise.... :rofl: :rofl:

I can't speak on 25 years, but in Eastern WA we are having the most winter we have had in the almost 4 years we have been here. BUT this year we have a new stove, dry wood, and mostly upgraded insulation. All is well.
