Agreed on Walmart. I dont think I go there more than a few times a year. But I will say that they are the only place where at 7:20 am and if there are only 20 cars in the parking lot then there is only 1 register open and you are waiting in line. But if its Friday night and the lot is packed, you can breeze through because so many registers are open.

You would not have wanted to be behind my honey and I last Saterday. They had just marked all christmas stuff to 75% off and she went wild re-stocking for next year. She had a cart loaded ti the gills and cost all of about 80 bucks. That included a 10 foot inflatable for the front lawn that was originally 79 bucks. Maybe 2, I cant remember but will all the wrapping paper, boxes, bows, table cloths and lord knows what else-we were checking out for quite a while-and she scored big time

snowing here today. I don't like to ski when it's low light - all you see is white, your eyes will not see the contrast in the snow, bumps, moguls, etc. i'm spoiled, I only ski on nice sunshine days!

Used the leaf blower many times in the past. Thought about using it today, as the snow was perfect, but by the time I'd get it out & plugged in, I had the decks already swept.

That guy might have been his father!  :picard: I'm just glad I didn't have to remove 4 wiring harnesses and the (3) rusted battery tray bolts, dodged a bullet there. Thanks again for the help Gino. :handshake:

I hear you artc, no fun skiing on unfamiliar terrain you can't see. And you ARE spoiled ! :D Hope it's sunny there soon.

I stand corrected Sir. :salute: ( Wife having me torqued up this week has affected my reasoning skills.. :loco:  )

I would love to visit HF and get some more goodies (sale ends today), but the wife would probably try to use that tool on me if she found out. :bug:

That would probably work. I wanted the exercise, so shoveled and swept for an hour (got the equivalent of 2 driveways because I do a truck-wide path to the shed, then I have a bunch of paths). Nice little work out for the arms and shoulders. Got out there early enough there was just a slight breeze. Nice and sunny didn't hurt either.

When I cook my bean soup I soak them and cook separate so they don't suck up all the juice

Yeah, there isn't a HF anywhere in our general area so it is a minimum of 1 hour and 15 minutes to get to Nashua. Maybe they'll put one in when they put in the Wally World next year and my life will be complete (except we also need an HD - both kinds )

You're better off buying their chit mail order. We have a store and when I'm there and get to see and feel the quality I usually walk out empty handed...

Nope, Rte 11 in Rottenchester- it actually came to more but we had wiper blades and windshield fluid. The xmas stuff was about 80....and some items didnt ring up at 75% off so they had to call for a mgr to override.
