^ ^ ^ Last day if someone wants $15 off a $50 (or more) online Lowes purchase...you want to try it Kimberly ? If it doesn't work with multiple discounts then give the number to someone else to use...kinda last minute now though

I'm not buying anything today. Hate it. I bought a washer a few weeks ago, also bought a bunch of other stuff. And will in future just not ready now or else I'd snag it just so someone uses it

Any turners out there interested in a burl? I think it's red maple. I really wanted to do something with it but I don't have any of the equipment, knowledge or time. Maybe someday down the road I can look further into it.

    Got our shirts yesterday also.
    Thank you, basod.

On a side note, i also ordered a hat (cant be official without a hat, right? Lol) and 2 decals a small and medium and i must say, they are HUUUGE!

I am going to have to buy a new toolbox just to have somewhere to fit the medium one lol.

g60gti , I'd be interested in turning or carving it. If I can divide it in half, I'll send you something back in return if you want. It looks very interesting.

It's yours then sir. PM me your address and I'll ship it off sometime next week. And thats a very nice offer to send me something made from it, if it works out great, if not no big deal. Just want to see someone use it instead of me tossing it in the fire.

Sounds great. If you can leave a bit if the branch stub on, that would be great. I can't wait to see what is underneath it all.

About 5" or what can fit in a shipping box is fine.

And that he did! What a cool trinket he made. Got it today via "snail mail". Thank you so much Jon. My wife was just floored that someone that I don't even know would do that(she loves the snail too). I told her that's why I hang around here. He's sitting proudly up on our mantel. Too bad it was just a branch clump and not a burl but looks great nonetheless. I checked out all your work on Facebook and everything looks top notch! I just wanted someone to use the wood, never expected anything in return but thank you so much!

I'm glad you like it, and it looks great up there on your mantle. Thanks again for sending it. I like the opportunity of cutting into a chunk of wood and seeing what is inside.
