You have to be two years to be considered a new customer again. I wasn't, so by direction of my rep. we used my wife's name, different e-mail and her credit card.

Supposed to plummet here too..... So far not too bad.

Beast will be in hi/lo for sure and Hamers getting their duty call. I probably won't set the stat back to 68ºF, Probably keep it at 70º . Got sn*w in the forecast for tomorrow. Not as much as Eastern CT, But still could get a couple of inches. Picked up some sand on the way home as the last storm whipped us out.

Pickin up the BD celebration where I left off last night! ;)

My wife keeps the stove on too hot and way too hot. Makes it very hard for me to sleep . She isn't moving much and likes the heat. She always liked the heat, but now that she fractured her back, it is worse. She fell again two days before Christmas. Has a compression fracture in L5. We went to the local ER, they said there was no fx and to go home and take OTC meds for pain. Our MD got the x rays or the report, and said she has a compression fracture. No wonder she has so much discomfort and doesn't want to move around.

Not long after my surgery , I had a disc blow out not a fracture , maybe different than what Cindy has .
Once the pressure was relieved off the spinal cord , but it took several years later to feel 100% . Would always feel a twinge when walking and stepped uneven ground .

Thanks, Cindy has a few things not in her favor. She is diabetic and overweight. plus her age doesn't help. I'm trying to get her to exercise in one of the local heated pools. She might feels so much better getting out and socializing. She is going to have to live with this thing for a while. I am discouraging narcotic pain meds because this is going to take a while and she doesn't need more problems than what she has.

I know what you mean Larry , with my Honey and daughter being Nurses , they explain a lot of things to me , so I have a better understanding of what's going with my health , Not that I always listen  but I was warned .

Last night I got home from work and thought I would kind of lounge around enjoying an evening without working my night job. However, the curtains I had ordered for the living room bay window were sitting on the porch when I got home. Still thought I could lounge around and read but after a chapter or so I got restless. Figured I would read the directions on the motorized traverse rod that was delivered before last weekednd. Wanted to be prepared to put that sucker up today.

Well, one thing led to another and I got all 8 feet of rod put up. Decided to put the curtains on to see if I had calculated correctly for their height (got 72" curtains and wanted them to hang to just below the bottom trim of the window so they didn't interfere with the FHW baseboard below..

Here is the rod installed with my former "curtains" still up in the window. That foamboard has been there for about 2 years :hair:. I was waiting until I got the trim installed

Yeah, the curtains need ironed but I wasn't doing that last night. Heck, I may just let them work their way to relatively wrinkle free

My favorite part - motorized curtains so I don't have to wade behind furniture to open/close them

Well.. welcome to winter in NH .. went out to start the Taurus this a.m., battery is struggling to turn the car over. Connections are good, the battery is spent.

    * This is not new, the battery's been giving some 'warning' signs over the past month ( it's approaching 5 yrs. old ) - w/ the cold temps. coming up, gotta get it replaced today.

Off to WallyWorld for a new battery, and as long as I'm in town.. report into work to do some needed IT maintenance, to prevent a 2nd trip later.

Aaand.. WMUR 9 is back on DirecTV this morning. :dex: * Still planning on finishing / testing the build on the antenna, and moving forward on the KODI server though.. And buy more Wine for the Boss.

Gotta dash like a holiday reindeer before the sn*w starts to fly - have a safe day, stay warm everyone.
