    It does - much appreciated. :handshake: This isn't our first time going through the 'negotiation rodeo' w/ channels on DirecTV, we're just not impressed with the way how it's been (& being) handled under the new ownership. I'm pretty sure the AT&T Execs involved have no trouble, getting all their local channel content. :whistle:

    It was much the same when we got DirecTV in '09, and when DSL was installed in '11, we finally felt like civilization had arrived here. :ups:

    If you can get via antenna, that is always a good option. Our AT&T service is marginal, but my son and his wife have that for their primary phone and don't complain about it. They live upstairs in this same house. I have one contracted phone with US cellular, plus one other line not on contract. I'll be moving that line to AT&T to keep getting the cheap TV price. The savings will all but pay for the second line. The thing with ABC will be temporary. It always is. We have seen this disputes several times. Can always get the program a day later on the web. I know, that is vey anticlimactic when it comes to sports games.

    Down to 11 F here, it's chilly outside, 7 is the low tonight. Having fun wrapping myself up in copper wire, hanging on FHC, roasting pellets & drinking beer - life's good this evening. :yes:
