    wicked nasty light rain - that may change to a wicked pizzah duhmpin of a dusting or nothing:D then it could actually suck if it stays freezing rain - we're due for an ice storm, it'll be gawd fawhsaken mess if it turns out that way

    it just started coming down hard about 2mins ago freezing rain/sleet. Ground temp is warm treetops not so much Magnolia already has icicles hanging I can't see Pine tops but I'm expecting a mess as temps are supposed to drop into teens and stay ~32 through the weekend.

    Chainsaws are gassed and wood stockpiled, most important plenty of beer:drunk:

    THE CLEBURNE COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY HAS ISSUED A
    COUNTYWIDE CURFEW TONIGHT FOR ALL NON-ESSENTIAL TRAFFIC, FROM 5 PM
    UNTIL 11 AM SATURDAY MORNING. THE COUNTY ENGINEER HAS DEEMED ALL
    COUNTY ROADS IMPASSABLE IN RESPONSE TO THE WINTER WEATHER
    EMERGENCY.

    THIS CURFEW DOES NOT PREVENT INDIVIDUALS FROM DRIVING TO WORK,
    SEEKING MEDICAL SERVICES, OR UNDERTAKING SIMILAR REQUIRED OR

    yeah that's what they do down here Zap , close roads to non-essential travel.
    I'm in a precarious spot with subordinates. Are they covered vehicle insurance wise if roads are closed?

    Have to give the speech if you're not comfortable driving no one is forcing you to come to work - but if I give an open option I'll be there all night myself

    I should have mentioned it that the school was pointed out to me while visiting my son a couple summers ago. Nothing around here but Karate, Judo, Jiu Jitsu, and Aikido.
    I schooled in and later on taught introductory courses in 3 out of 4 of them. Also competed.
    Aikido was too slow for my tastes so I never signed up.

    Paid for and gone. I moved some more brush, logs, and stones to where I wanted them today before I drove it down the road to his place. I'm going to miss that Grapple. :(
