yes, it has been a good day. Turning 70 is a bit of a shock to my system, but I am on the right side of the ground! No birthday cake, don't want to upset my wt. loss program.

Just sent an e-mail to my old Sensei. I must be feeling sentimental about the old physical abuse or something, who knows? Hope he responds.
What is it that New Years gets me all weird and chit?? Seriously! :tears:

Not all gasket is created equal. Here is a pic of some 5/8 from the local stove shop along side some 5/8 high density direct from Englander, I was not able to find the high density stuff from anyone but Englander.

Good morning, temps at 24 degrees and falling off to mid teens tonight.
Coffee is on and the woodlot is surely pretty soggy after rain and mid 50 temps yesterday.
Puttering around the go-rodge and woodshed is where you'll find me.

Frosty, cold and clear again this morning. I sure miss the walking in the morning. I still have a few months before I will be able to walk like I use to in the morning. I have lots of odds and ends projects to get finished this week. I am enjoying the sunshine even though it is cold out. campinspecter was going to wash the car yesterday but it didn't get above freezing during the day.

It's pretty wet outside so we'll give it another day and maybe it will freeze up some. The winds are starting to pickup too, possible wind gust up to 50 mph starting this afternoon until 11 a.m. tomorrow.
