About 3 full cord so far I would guess. Didn't start buying until 11/21.

I burn an OWB 24/7 and my wife keeps the house set at 74. I have gone through 5 1/2 of my pallets which each hold about 56 cubic feet, so based on that I've used around 2 1/2 cords of wood.

Burned approximately 1 cord of silver maple chunks plus some red oak during the cold snaps:

I intended to keep a running tally on amount/duration of fires, total wood used per fire, etc. Then of course, life just kept on happening. So maybe just over a cord?

That has to be really nice burning that much less wood. Now that 15 cord will last a lot longer.

I had an old vermont casting defiant that was blowing through wood, not very efficient anymore so i finally got a new stove from lowes, summers heat 2400 sq ft. I think its made by englander. I love it im saving soooo much wood with much longer burn time. Iv used a cord here in NH.

I don't know if it counts, but yesterday we finally had enough rain to make it wet enough to burn my brush pile. I cleared maybe a half acre of small trees over the last little while and have been stacking it up waiting for the day.

I think we are close to three cords in. Maybe slightly less. Had some willow, basswood, soft maple, and other junk I blew threw in the shoulder season. Got six more stacked and a few more under cover in the woods if needed.

Had to reply to this post, maybe not related to the thread topic. But I've had this growing brush pile that I also was waiting for a cool, wet day to light it up (with no wind). That day came last Sunday. As it was burning, my wife took the opportunity to pick up and burn some limbs, tree trash we call it, that we have pretty much all over the place. She was cleaning up an area she want's to ride her horses, but I think she was just having fun!

Yep, that is the same as either the 30-NC or the Madison, both by Englander. If it has the automatic air setback, it is the Madison, otherwise it is the 30-NC. I have the 30-NC, great stove, best budget big stove out there.

Just started on cord #2. Also burned through 3/8 of a tank of oil. Just took a look tonight and realized we're almost out of oil. I ordered it a few minutes ago at $2.29.9 a gallon. Not a happy camper.

Around 2/3 cord I'd say so far, Probly be close to a cord the end of the week. A touch over a 1/3 of red maple, ash and cherry I had CSS plus a basket of uglies and some extremely dry miscellaneous stuff my neighbor gave me. Oh did I mention zero propane.....

1/2 cord pine, about a 1/4 cord of uglies, and about 3/4 cord red maple and white birch so far - so about 1.5 cord. Just brought in about 3 weeks worth of splits from the barn - mix of red oak, white ash, red maple and white birch.....all 4 years old and burning like a dream! Cheers!
