You know, I think my house is haunted. When I get up in the morning and look into the mirror, there is a crazy old man standing there looking at me. I know, not original, but it sure seems true.

 

Thank you for all the birthday well wishes. Turning 70, ugh, at least I am on the right side of the soil. Here is hoping for a happy new year for all of you and for me. I was thing about my diet and weight loss. While I may not realistically be able to hit my goal weight, I can go a long ways towards it. I'm going to the gym 3-4 times a week, and I am being very selective about what I eat. Here is something that a bit of humor:
I am not vegan, no way, no way how. I'm eating a lot of meat with fat, but avoiding carbs. so far so good. My lipids are very good.

I dunno. Pretty sure that when savemoney started this he mentioned he could eat bacon.......but pretty sure he doesnt do the hard cider thing any more

 

He stays away from all sources of ethanol the last I knew one of my docs told me to really watch it as it screws with one of my meds as well.

 

Bacon is the perfect food for his diet. Or any diet for that matter.

We're not supposed to get much snow around here, mostly rain/freezing rain. It's been raining and freezing when it hits my driveway for a few hours now. I hope my truck doesn't slide down the driveway during the night. I actually had that happen once.

 

A bit too warm for that here.
