Is this Osage orange?

    It's definitely black locust, and you don't want to use that stuff. Give me the address and I'll go get it out of there and properly, uh.......dispose of it for you......:emb::D

    Definitely take the hickory, as that's even better than black locust. The maple, even if sugar maple, is still not as good as locust.

    None of that is wood to pass on though, that's for sure. Even red maple has its place.

    OMG! Taking hickory and maple now finds tons of black locust. Well, we have passed from Christmas to the New Year and the Lord has certainly been smiling on you!

    That's what I was thinking! hickory sugar and locust get it ALL... you can find shoulder wood later!
