Maybe NH doesn't have personal income taxes but Uncle sure as he!! does. Further NH does have business taxes based in part on income.

I love my LED lights. Every time I add or update a fixture I change over. I put in 5 can lights in the basement, 4 can lights in the garage that are all LED's. Also the bathroom light fixture that I changed out a couple of months ago is LED, as are the lights on the ceiling fan I replaced in the kitchen. As the ceiling fan lights in the living room burn out I am replacing them with LED's. The best prices can usually be found online, but sometimes HD puts them on sale too. They may be expensive but I haven't had any burn out unlike some of the CFL's I put in just 2 years ago. You do have to watch the base size on LED lights as there seem to be a lot of different sizes other than the regular sizes we grew up with.

Hey jtakeman - I got three 11w dimmable LED's with A19 bases you can have (replaces 60w incandescent, with warm white - 2700k). I originally bought them to go in the bathroom fixture. But due to design changes, dimmables don't make sense, so here they are just sitting in a box. I would be happy to send them to you if you want them. Don't know if they are the type you need, or the size - let me know if you want them.

BTW - made in China :emb:

Went to both BBS and returned window trim pieces that were extra and got the 1 piece I still needed. Also grabbed a bunch of shop vac filters and some stain pens to fill in the nail holes. Stopped at Wally World to get a couple of pair of pants for work - last bought some in 2013/2014 after I had lost every last spare ounce from massive stress. I've gained some weight since then, but not enough to fit well in my old size 8 clothes - but too much to look good in the tiny size 2&4 clothes.

Got home and both stoves were shutting down. GREAT! I was planning on giving them each a good cleaning so the timing worked well. Did everything, including LBT. The P61a really needed the full blown cleaning after all the TG's it had to digest. The P43 could have gone with just a regular cleaning, but it was just as easy to do everything since I had all the gear out anyway.

I need to put my bedroom back to rights (had to move stuff to trim the windows), then I think I'm done for the night. Downloaded a book the other day and think I should get some reading in before I go to work. Naturally, it will be freezing rain for the drive into work in the morning - oh joy, just what I wanted after 10 commuteless days :hair:

I threw some salmon on the pellet smoker earlier. Figured I'd top off the hopper with the few cooking pellets I had left. Turns out a mouse got into the bag and tried to eat the last couple pounds of hickory flavored pellets. I fully intended to put those into a storage bin to keep the mice out, but I never did.

I didn't dig around to see if there were mouse turds in the bag, and didn't care to cook food with them based off evidence of rodents. I couldn't bring myself to throw them out, so into the furnace hopper they went. When those hit the burn pot it might smell like BBQ outside for an hour or so. :)

Very nice of you bogieb, But you can use the dimmables in standard fixtures. They won't care much, But the other way around doesn't work well. They only work if the dimmer is full on. LED are still rathr pricey, You should hang on to them as spares. ;) Thank you very much though!
Well, I guess its payback for all the slackin we did. And she's(MN) gonna wing some cold azz stuff at us middle of next week. I saw some single digit chit mixed in for a few days. Then it warms back up to low twenties for lows.

Before we know it we will be enjoy nice weather. :)

OK been kinda busy, plowing and such,so-cfl's were bad from the get go,and they put out rf ,being a ham, what a mess.Got up to 0 today, but the good news is ---its coming your all's way!!! lol baked a chicken for myself for christmas, was great.Didn't stay up late enough to see mariah's meltdown.Question for Smokey,or other cat people--this one i rescued has put on a few pounds, lots of energy, even trying to catch birds off the birdfeeder, but have cut back leaving open bowl of dry, methinks he is eating too much?I always thought cats were self regulating, guess not? Thanks.

Cats will eat and pack on the poundage you have to provide a lot of exercise for them, a normal cat can weigh anything from 6.5 lbs for a momma kitty that just weaned her kittens up to 16+lbs for an indoor tom. They eat what they like. No two cats will be the same. Best you limit their intake,a hi carb diet is bad for them. They need protein.

A cat eating wet food really needs little water but they are funny and frequently prefer toilets. Not really a lot you can do except close the hopper lid if it bothers you.

My brother had a cat that self regulated to about 30lbs.
Mine, I just leave out the dry stuff. She doesn't over indulge. She's kinda picky. Won't eat wet stuff, or anything else. She does get curious if I open a package of grass fed beef. I don't eat it all that often, but maybe I should if the cat can smell the difference enough to be interested. She likes tuna, which I give her here and there. Not sure how good it is for them, too lean.
Agree with Smokey on the carbs. In fact, I am not sure they really should have any of them.

Mr. T went out at over 13lbs, KC came to us at 6.5 lbs. She had weaned her 4 larger than her kittens the prior week.

Well I'd say he is prob 3-4 lbs, now,I have no scales except reloading scales. Is nice to have him rip roaring around the house, got lots of crap on the floor he plays with, and has done minamal damage(nice).May take a section of board and make him a scratching pole, but he goes into basement and uses an old section of log railing.

You really should talk to a cat only vet. Cats have their needs that aren't always met and they end up having issues. IBD(grain intolerance), UTIs, Diabetes(carb intolerance), Hyperthyroid, and on goes the list. The folks at HART (where KC was) handle, rehab, and place cats with diabetes and IBD. They also take care of FIV cats (normally a kill case at other places). They know cats.

I took a cardboard tube(from on of my fishing rods) and wrapped twine around it. Cats love it.
