Bunch of clay/dirt moved with 210C this morning. Worked on barn this afternoon. Beer:30 with neighbor.

Other neighbor down the road says he would like to buy the 210C. Will get money tomorrow.

I'm looking at several options. Don't want to spend much though. Trying to decide if I need Ag tires that bad or not. The TLB series from Kubota, or John Deere for contsruction work are built very strong. Like a L39 or L48, or the Deere 110. But no Ag tires. Really need hydraulics up front to run a grapple. Have to have removable backhoe and all three point hitch equipment with it. New Ag tractor would be nice with all that stuff, but for the size I would want to go the price is scary and I don't need to spend that kind of money.

Caffeine going in. I moved some more clay yesterday with the 210C. Then my neighbor and I put some more batten boards up. I would say we have about 2-3 hours of work left to get the rest of them up. We are going to try this morning, if it's not raining. But it calls for it. After today, vacation is over.:(

One cup done, second one started.
Today will be the first day without my partner as he retired (again) officially last week. He is 75 and I can already tell he is bored! Even though he only worked 2-3 days a week, it was a real joy t work with him!

We're suppose to get rain or freezing rain but nothing yet so I'm not sure what will go on today.

I usually give the neighbors until 9:30 if I work around the house with the chainsaw, we'll see what it is doing at that time.

If it's not raining I'll go after one of the damaged Yellow Birch.

I don't think it would bother any of them but it's in behind one neighbors house but on our property. I was telling that neighbor he had a good sized Cherry that fell from his property on to ours, he wants me to take it but it's a huge mess of downed trees in that area so I'll wait until spring. He heats with wood so I'll c/s it for him when I get the chance.

Just installed a new door gasket on the insert since it's 52 outside in January.
I went 1 inch (bigger) this time as its all I could find. Had to bend the door catch out a little so she'd close. Let's hope for no leaks as the rest of the week is supposed to be back in the 20's for highs.

Now to go move another 2 face to the back porch and rotate the topcovers. I only topcover 1 years worth. Yard is a mudpit.

Really cold, clear and frosty this morning. -7 C/ 19 F I am appreciating the sunshine that comes with this cold spell. Our winters are usually quite grey and dreary. Stores are finally open this week so grocery shopping and finding out what's in the mail will be on the agenda today. Missed the last 4 mins of the Rose Bowl last night. It sounds like it was really exciting.

Dog ran away for about 30 mins this morning. She ran to a friend of mine. Caught the town worker, my buddy, and asked if he would keep a watch out. Later that day, town worker moves the town tree dump into a pile and moves some ash out for me. Good friend!!
