    Because the temp was 37 yesterday I ran to the local park, started a fire and made a bacon sammich!!

    Seeing that bald eagle made me think of a picture in our paper taken at the local landfill around Christmas:

    They scavenge among the trash like the gulls, crows etc. Most folks who take pictures at the landfill avoid taking pictures of the eagles picking over trash because it is disrespectful to one of our national images.

    Frosty morning this morning. Happy New Years to all FHC members. campinspecter is headed out for his first wood gathering of this year. I get to un-decorate this morning and get some other things done around here. I think we are in for a cold and clear spell until Friday.

    Yippy kay yay. Not. Yesterday I bent down to get the cupcake pan out of a bottom cabinet, heard and felt a "snap!". Not very painful though I did put on a roomier pair of shoes. Finally looked just now about 24 hours later. Yep, another bone in the same darn foot. Atleast its on the top this time instead having walk on it. LOVE my sketchers for sclero stuff, but, sigh, I think I need to give them up.

    Can't like that. Skechers are typically not good for most folks per podiatrists.
    I had a pair of skechers for work shoes, dressy type tennis shoes for Friday casual days. They made my feet hurt, and I donated them quickly.

    I will likely not go, I know the routine, stabilize it and let it heal on its own. Also, this does not hurt 1/2 as bad as the bottom bone last spring. Something has to really hurt to get my behind into town :rofl: :lol: I will be wearing my new asics and hiking boots for a few weeks.
