Finally got to work on this standing dead red oak I pulled out back in October. Working 65 hours a week plus taking care of the farm doesn't leave much time for wood work. Got a few days vacation this week so I started on the logs yesterday, just about finished up and ran out of gas for the splitter. But it was good timing I needed a break and a hot cup of coffee anyway. Now off to the store . Hope the pics turned out ok first time I tried posting the them from my phone
The pics are great, as well as the work you did. A splash of gas and you'll have those remaining rounds split. I post all of my pics from my phone. Many phone cameras are quite good.
Yep 1 tree pictures kinda deceiving but it's still a lot of wood. Sent from my SM-J320P using Tapatalk

Ah yes, another happy woodsman that knows the right way to split logs! Nice work Driver. And yes, with the long hours and farm work, it can be quite a task to get wood cut too.
Been there many times myself.....this post made me chuckle. I'm not laugh AT ya.....I'm laughing WITH ya ....
Better to run out of gas than to run out of wood! Nice work there, I can smell the red oak from here!
Nice pics Lots of work done there, Most here know what it takes to get a pile of splits that big Good job Pictures of it stacked coming soon ? no gas, stack Great Splitter orientation
