    29° and we are getting an inch or two of snow today. The wife is having her other eye done today, so I will fill the boiler with oak so if we are gone for awhile it will be warm upon our return.

    It was 27 this morning with the basement temp at 79 and the upstairs temp at 72. The four splits of Sugar Maple with the Cherry in the Liberty along with the warm night had us only burn half a bag of pellets overnight.

    loaded with birch and popular.. 30 outside... 80 in... waiting on the storm... in the 8 to 12 inch range... new weather guy said well we been tracking it and tracking it and I really just don't know yet:rofl: :lol: I bet at least he right!

    It's 33 out this afternoon, I just loaded the Liberty up with more Cherry from this mornings fire.

    It's 74 in the basement and the upstairs temp is 71.

    Things go ok with her other eye?

    I put in a small load to establish another coal bed. I'll be plowing later before bed and reload then, around 10 or 11pm when we will likely have around 8" current temp 29° only dropping a few more degrees, with heavy snow. Got a text from the power company that extra crews are ready for any power outages.

    28* and snowing. Tossed in a few oak branches to burn down some coals, going to fill it with more oak later. The wife can see much better after the surgeries, thanks for asking. The drawback is she still can't drive until she gets her new glasses in a month, so I have been taking her to work then picking her up, 25 mi.one way twice a day is really helping the gas company. I heard rumor that I will be going back to work week after next, that should be interesting.

    30 degrees and snowing. Got a small batch of hickory, maple and cherry ( 3 inch in diameter) limbs burning. Going to load up with big hickory and maple rounds tonight.

    Got about an inch here with a brisk wind. 34F when it started & 28 now. Slicker than snot out on the roads. Furnace loaded full of Elm & Cherry for tonite. Supposed to go cut a bunch Saturday. We'll see if weather permits.
