Saw was bought new in 2003 and has no more than 4 tanks thru her. Not really a lot more to tell other than what's been discussed in the other thread. She will make someone very proud. $700 +actual shipping.

    Wish I had gotten a close up of the serial number, but you can see the blue circle with QC stamped inside it.

    I'd trade a Minty 460 with the same tank # ran through it? Not the one I traded for (thread in Chainsaw section) My Actual 460. I bought new and only has 4 tanks through it? Although the one I traded for, seems to have less use, but I can not verify that at all.

    The X on the serial # means only that she was picked out of the line for a QC test. Its nothing more. Doesnt add a penny to the value of the saw. I just thought it was more a conversation piece/interesting at best. Thats all. Sorry for any confusion on this matter folks.

    Man that sucker is MINTY and I don't think you should have a problem selling it.! I forwarded this add on to a few guys hoping to drum up a sale for you and bring some more people into the classifieds section (Hope you don't mind). I gotta say I really like the looks of the saw. Are there really any differences between a 460 and a 046 cause they look identical to me?

    Not really much difference besides the early ones had a bigger exhaust opening and the D shaped chamber.
