Pays the bills! I know what it was like. I used to work long hours, weekends and most all the overtime I could get. Paying for the kids college and braces kept me humble and poor.

We have been getting about 4-6" every weekend when I am supposed to be off work. Except last weekend, it was too warm so we had a thunderstorm.

No, I'm wanting to get one, just haven't figured out which one I want... I've got the one that I made, but I was having issue sticking the wood. But yesterday I took it to work, while I was setting at a press starting it up. I took the file to it. Now its sharp and I had blood to prove it...:D... I'll be checking it out this week end.

I found one at the little hardware down the road from lemans in kidron a few years ago. Was $15 I think but not a very good one I had to smooch it with a flap disk and sharpen it to a very sharp tip. It's held up but not to well.

It's the nature of my job. We go all over the state to different dairy farms an fix just about anything that's broken related to dairy and cows. Dairy doesn't stop so we rotate holidays and ALWAYS have somebody on call....

It's the most rewarding job, laid back employee group and fun job I have had. It's also one of the most incredibly high tech and computer controlled jobs I've ever seen. It's mind blowing how high tech some of the farms are. 90+ cow milking rotarys that go non stop on 3500+ cow dairys! ALL computer controlled and automated systems even starting to see robot milking systems getting installed!

It makes for some long days but I wouldn't trade this job for anything! I've got the best Family I've ever had to work for. They may be bosses but they treat everyone like family and expect that attitude in return.

Ah ha! You sound like you're sending someone a clue. Now if I can just narrow it down to who in NH got a fruit basket. Nothing left except two apples and the caramel which the wife is gonna heat up and drizzle over the apples sliced up into wedges this weekend. Oh, I think I mentioned that wife scoffed the basket right away. Thanks Gas, I ate one pear each day for breakfeast.:drool: Happy New Year!
