    Class act, all the way, fellas. It truly humbles me to see people get together to help a person in need. There's no better feeling ON THE PLANET than helping someone out on a personal level like that......

    BTW you guys did a HECK of a pile of work in a short amount of time.....awesome job!!

    It's mostly ash which is 30 % mc when its alive so they are good to go for the winter.

    Was serious but kind of joking. Yea u burn what ya got.And maybe the did not want it cause it would dry to fast? But maybe someone I was thinking could of swapped um green for dry say 2 cords. Y'all load a truck and trailer up and drop off at someone's place and then reload with drier wood. Even if its on yr wood.? Y'all anywhere near Scotty, heard he like 50 cords CSS! Haha joking there.

    No need to panic guys. Standing dead Elm @ about 18%, Cherry just over 20%, & very dead Ash @ 15 to 20% so it should be decent. Only live tree was a big oak limb, & that's split & stacked for down the road. Owner told me they've never had this much wood to start winter. I'm thinking they'll have a 2-3 cord headstart on next year. I may go cut with His boys over the winter depending on how the transplant works out. Say a prayer for them if you would. Here's a pic of a few of us, & the shed. A C

    Good work guys and for a good cause. I love to see things like this.

    For others, I have met both Pallet Pete and Amateur Cutter and they are great guys. I have not yet seen AC doing any cutting but just having had the chance to talk to him, I know that he is not an amateur!

I figure there's always more to learn, & I've been fortunate to work & learn from some real pros. They get the credit for being patient with me as I learn. A C

    Thanks Gas, wasn't really like work though, we had fun. Worst part of that job was holding the 064 over my shoulders cutting those big Ash trunks. There was fence buried into that tree up to about 5'. I think Pete & the others on the splitters did a lot more work. I'll do that over again anytime, what a hoot. You should've heard the crash a couple of those bigger trees made when they came down. That wood was dry & brittle so I had to cut almost all the way through my hinge to get them to tip, consequently they fell fast & hard. A C

    Hard is an understatement they where at least an acre away and I heard the BOOOOMMM SNAPP and had to go see. It was loud !
