    Merry Christmas everyone. I stopped at the pallet company yesterday morning and filled the back of the truck up with blocks. As I was finishing an older gentleman from N.H. stopped in to fill a few barrels up. When I was done, I helped him load up and we started to get talking woodstoves, firewood seasoning and grapple loads. He runs a Nightingale stove he bought from a neighbor who was moving.

    He uses the wood blocks to take the edge off his firewood usage and lower his heating bills. His wife said as long as leaves wood next to the stove, she will fill it. We had a great conversation and a great way to start the day.

    One chocolate and one black lab/husky (we think) mix. They look, and act almost 100% lab though. Brother and sister rescues. :handshake: They are quite the guard dogs, until you offer them something to eat. Then it's like, welllllll........

    Didn't know you had Dogs... You'll have to post them up to the Pet thread from time to time. Even though my two chocolate labs have passed on, I go there and it brings back those memories... :handshake: ... One day when work slows down and I have time to devote... I'll get another one....

    Drinking coffee and petting the best present I ever got....my best friend Bentley. How somebody could ever get rid of a dog like him I'll never know, but I'm thankful everyday that I got him.

    Love the black labs. my two were excited with their new toys. There was a time they would destroy their toys in 10 min. but now they play with them over and over no longer chewing up anything except their chew bones.

    It's a soggy, foggy, misty upper 30's here with temps heading to mid 40's, chance of rain later.
    I go "on call" at 1500 hours, so I won't "get" to go to the mother in laws..
