Hoppers full of Nature's Own. Once those are gone. It's on to Green Supremes. They should hit the burn pot by Tuesday
Next 2 night gonna be cold! Then it looks like we got a bit more mild weather headed in. Might go back to the NO's and stash the Hamers for the next cold spell. Or maybe a blend of the 2? Don't want these 2008 hamers to expire on me!!
I get them from Jeff the guy on craigslist, they are pretty decent Steve, Average ash but burn hot, my only complaint was they had alot of long pellets in the bags but it has not been a problem for me in the Serenity or the Francesca but may be a problem for some stoves. If you ever get down my way let me know and I will hook you up with some for a review.
BTUtiful in the hopper steady now. burned 32 bags till cleaning on Sunday morning. I had made a mark in the ash can at the level of 17 bags of Blackstone hardwood. 32 bags of BTUtiful reached the same level. i did see lots of small mineral lava rocks with the blazers, but nothing that clogged up the burn pot at all. minor scraping and the usual cleaning. will burn another batch of these, and then a skid of MWP softis. might be some LaCrete before the end of the season
Good info thanks for sharing the data on the ash output. Curious to hear what you get with the MWP Softies and if you get around to doing the same test - the EZBs as well. You gonna try the LaCretes for your personal burning, or thinking of stocking them for sale?
Back to NO's unless we see more cold stuff. I'm sure ol Skeeter will keep us alerted on any of them polar V things coming or way.
