    Ladies and gentlemen,

I am excited to say that after today's firewood duty was completed, I now have all of fall 17/ winter 18 wood CSS.

My plan is to spend the rest of the winter CSS for 18/19.

Even though today was successful, I was 0-3 dropping trees where I wanted them and all 3 got hung up in other standing trees. I got one maple down (red I think) and processed. I guess on the positive side I still have two more maple trees to work up that will not get any wetter

Thanks for everyone's advice on trying to get on that 3 year plan. I'm not there yet but getting closer and the farthest ahead I've ever been

I wish I could double-like your post. Great work, you will be glad next winter, and even more glad the following.

0-3 is just fine in my book if nobody gets hurt and nothing gets damaged!

I will get some pics the next time I'm at the farm. Most of the wood is stored in one location but I have s few stacks scattered around in the woods waiting to be restacked at a later date

You can't beat being several years ahead - way to go! And if you felled 3 trees with no property damage and injuries then I'd say you were 3 for 3!

Yes, it is an awesome feeling to be ahead for once. But now I have the firewood bug bad! I'm already planning which tress to process next for 18/19
