I admit it, but I'm looking forward to going into the deep freeze tomorrow. Looking at negative 20s and 40 below with windchill.

For me nothing is better than doing something outside, freezing my keister off and coming in for a hot chocolate with schnapps.

Just glad I'm not out working in it. By Monday we should be back to normal winter temps.

Anyone one to admit that they're not right in the head? :)

You're on your own on this one brother!

I sure don't like the cold anymore. But when you add wind to it, it turns into a hate thing!!!

schlot As long as I have something to do out there and can see my progress when I get done I have the same feeling as you. Makes me feel kinda extra accomplished. Come in the house by the wood stove and get the backs of my pants so hot you'd think there on fire! Then a nice cup of your preferred hot beverage (mines coffee).

I always lived in warm climates (until about 4 years ago). I neve thought I would like the cold, but I am starting to enjoy it. As long as I don't "have" to be out there in it for more than a few minutes at a time.

I think I'm in yooperdave's camp when it comes to silly cold. I don't mind "cold cold" say -20 or -25 C for extended periods, but below that (especially with wind) it's no fun at all. Just one guys opinion.
